Art Director
Matilda Kahl would rather spend creative energy on work, not clothes. Which is
why her office look hasn’t changed in 3 years. Made hygienically possible
through multiple duplicates of a shirt and pants, the choice of a uniform
(albeit, a vaguely stylish one) in a creative environment is both ironic and,
as Kahl discovered, “provocative”.Catering to the
desire to eliminate time spent picking out the best outfit each day – evidently
not as ‘stressful’ a process for her male co-workers - can be interpreted as
either lazy or genius. Either way, saving time, money and energy, while still
looking the part? Not a bad idea.
